Whatever He Wants

Vashti Stopher Klein

I have an alternate folk style that is calming and dreamy.

Have you ever been helplessly in love? "Whatever He Wants" is a song I wrote about being in that mystifying, joyful place. Roger Hooper, of Roger Hooper Music is on piano.

I started singing when I was eight years old. In my teens I started singing locally in Maryland at charity events, coffee houses, the USO, and the Cellar Door on open mic nights where I won a competition and was played on the radio. As I grew older, singing became like breathing to me.

Responsibilities of adulthood began to take precedence in my life, and my singing was put on the back burner for several years. I then decided to focus on singing again and started working with a vocal coach. Just as my fervor was returning, I was faced with a crisis that could have ended my dream forever. I came through and emerged with a new view on life. I recognized that today is truly all we have, and the time to realize one's dreams is now.

In 2012, I formed Butterfly Effect Productions, Inc. The company’s mission is to produce artistic products that have positive rippling effects throughout the world. I released my first album, "The Heart of Things," that year and in 2014 released "Path to the Sun, Moon and Stars." Both are available on CD Baby.

People tell me that my singing has a spiritual quality that soothes them and they love to listen to my songs over and over again. I hope you enjoy "Whatever He Wants," and check out the other two albums!

Path to the Sun, Moon and Stars

Vashti Stopher Klein

The Path to the Sun, Moon and Stars is an alternate folk style that is dreamy, and at times emotional, as each love song tells its story. The music has a calming spiritual quality that is hopeful.

The album’s theme is based on the belief that there is a right time for love and a right time for your dreams, and when that time comes, the planets align and a path is cleared.

As you travel the path to love and your dreams, trust your heart, for it truly knows the way.

The significance of the blue butterflies in the design is they are considered sacred in many cultures because of their enigmatic and mystical quality. Some believe seeing a blue butterfly will bring good luck, and that when you see one, in any form, you should make a wish as it may increase the chances of it coming true…

The Heart of Things

Vashti Stopher Klein

"The Heart of Things" was released in the summer of 2014. The songs were selected specifically to sooth your heart about the love you have experienced in your life, and bring you a sense of reminiscence, serenity and hope for love today and into the future.

The album was created and produced a year after challenges that threatened my life and my voice. I emerged from the crisis and I realized that today is truly all we have, and the time to realize one's dreams is now.
